Jessica Hahn is an American model and actress who gained fame after a powerful scandal involving her and televangelist Jim Bakker. She was born on July 7, 1959, in one of the districts of New York, United States.

On December 6, 1980, her life dramatically changed when she, a 21-year-old woman working as a secretary in a church, became a victim of sexual harassment by preacher Jim Bakker. According to Jessica's claims, Jim drugged and raped her. At the time, Bakker (and several of his colleagues) were accused not only of constant sexual harassment of parishioners but also of bribery and other vices. In 1997, Bakker published a book titled "I Was Wrong," in which he attempted to explain what happened, claiming that the sexual encounters were consensual.

Jessica Hahn refused to remain in the shadows and made several attempts to expose Bakker's wrongdoing. On March 19, 1987, Hahn once again shared information with the media and demanded immediate disclosure of Jim's criminal activities and his condemnation. In 1989, Bakker was sentenced to a lengthy prison term primarily for financial misconduct. Naturally, the events of that fateful winter day in 1980 did not have a significant impact on Jessica's subsequent life. On the contrary, being truly popular, she increasingly attracted attention.

Soon, Jessica Hahn began regularly appearing on various television shows (including a role in the TV series "Married... with Children") and posed for several issues of the famous Playboy magazine.
