Early Career
Hailing from Argentina, Jesús Dátolo began his professional football career in 2000 with Cañuelas. In 2002, he joined Banfield, making his debut in 2005.
Boca Juniors and European Adventure
Midway through 2006, Dátolo moved to Boca Juniors. His stint in Argentina was short-lived as he transferred to Italian club Napoli in 2009. In 2011, he played for Espanyol before joining Internacional in 2012.
International Career
Dátolo's international debut came in a friendly match against Russia in August 2009, where he scored a goal within 20 seconds of entering the field. His first goal in an official match was against Brazil in a 1-3 defeat.
