Jesús Gallardo, a Promising Mexican Midfielder
Early Career at UNAM PumasJesús Gallardo, a Mexican footballer, emerged as a talented midfielder during his time at UNAM Pumas. He began his career in the club's youth system before making his professional debut in a Copa MX match against Toluca on September 17, 2014. Not only did Gallardo debut in this match, but he also scored his first goal for Pumas.
Gallardo's Primiera División debut followed on November 23, 2014, in a game against Monterrey. He went on to score his first league goal for Pumas on August 21, 2016, against Monterrey once again. In addition, Gallardo showcased his scoring prowess in the 2016 CONCACAF Champions League, netting twice in a match against Trinidad's W Connection on October 21.
International Recognition
Gallardo's impressive club performances earned him a call-up to the Mexican national team. He made his international debut on October 9, 2016, in a friendly match against New Zealand.
