Biography of Jim Hutton

Jim Hutton was a hairdresser and the last known lover of the legendary founder, lead singer, and pianist of the band Queen, Freddie Mercury. Not much is known about Hutton, as he was a quiet and unassuming person who did not seek to exploit his relationship with Mercury for personal gain.

Hutton and Mercury met in a bar in 1984, where Mercury offered him a drink. At first, Hutton did not recognize the famous musician, but later learned who he was. However, their initial encounter did not lead to a close relationship, and they did not see each other for another year and a half.

It wasn't until they met again in the same bar that Hutton and Mercury became closer. Soon after, Hutton moved in with Mercury at Garden Lodge. They lived together for two years until the outbreak of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, which affected many in the gay community. In 1987, Mercury was diagnosed with AIDS and decided to end their relationship. However, Hutton professed his love for Mercury and chose to stay by his side until the end.

Hutton cared for Mercury, attended to his needs, and was rumored to have been present at his death. Hutton passed away on January 1, 2010, at his home in Ireland. Although not much is known about Hutton, his role as Mercury's devoted partner during his final days remains an important part of their story.
