Early Life and Career Beginnings

At the age of ten, Joanna started attending various auditions and got involved in local theater, where she was given the opportunity to play lead roles. It was at this theater that representatives from Disney Channel noticed her. However, Joanna's parents rejected their offer to start a career in the famous show. Her mother believed that education should be her daughter's priority, so Joanna was only allowed to express her creative impulses and love for the stage by participating in local plays, which did not interfere with her schooling.

During her high school years, Joanna was noticed by representatives from Nickelodeon, who also offered her a contract. This time, her parents agreed, and the young actress was finally able to immerse herself in the world of film and television she had always dreamed of. Her debut roles were in the series "Are You Afraid of the Dark?", which became very popular among young audiences. To pursue this opportunity, she had to move to Montreal, Canada.
