Biography of Jodi Stil

Jodi Stil is an American student who gained fame for her drawings on her legs. Stil started drawing amazing things on her legs during lectures in college when she didn't have paper at hand. Her drawings on her pale skin looked like real tattoos. Her talent did not go unnoticed, and today she can rightfully be called an internet sensation. She has received enticing offers from major companies, but she is not in a rush to reveal what kind of work she does for them.

Early Life and Artistic Discovery

Jodi Stil, a 19-year-old student, was born in Florida. She came up with the idea of using her legs as a canvas during her time at Emerson College in Massachusetts in 2011. Stil felt bored during her film production classes and started drawing caricatures on her leg with pens. The images that appeared on her skin turned out to be stunning. She took a photo of her drawing and posted it on the internet, where her work quickly gained a following.

Notable Works and Recognition

Since the beginning of her studies, Stil diligently worked on creating one magnificent drawing after another, only to erase them from her leg later. Her most famous pieces include hand-drawn images of Walter White, the main character from the TV series "Breaking Bad" portrayed by Bryan Cranston, and Thom Yorke, the frontman of the band "Radiohead." She also created an excellent drawing of Joseph Gordon Levitt, one of the stars of the acclaimed movie "Inception." In an interview with the Boston Globe, Stil said, "Of course, you always hope that your art will be noticed. But I didn't expect the response to be so big and international."

Current Career and Future Plans

Today, Stil receives numerous requests from fans all over the world. Her works on the image hosting site "imgur" have been viewed over half a million times, and fans have created a Facebook page in her honor. While continuing her studies, Stil plans to pursue a career in filmmaking. She is not inclined to switch to being an illustrator, and she doubts that she will ever be interested in getting a permanent tattoo. However, she will never stop drawing. Stil is accustomed to her creations only lasting temporarily on her skin. Nevertheless, she admitted to having one self-designed tattoo. Stil is not a fan of leaving permanent marks on her body, so she will think twice before agreeing to another tattoo. Creating a tattoo of Japanese koi fish in the form of a yin-yang sign required Stil to put effort into the design and endure some pain.

Collaborations with Companies

Stil has attracted the attention of major companies that want to collaborate with her. When asked about her work with companies, Stil said, "People from all over the world ask me if I design logos or create designs for companies. I don't know how much I'm allowed to disclose. I have signed non-disclosure agreements with some companies."
