Joe Hart: England's Goalkeeping Stalwart

Joe Hart, an English professional footballer, currently plays as a goalkeeper for Manchester City and the England national team. He is currently on loan to West Ham United.

Early Life and Career

Born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Hart began his footballing journey with his hometown club, Shrewsbury Town. He joined the club in 2003 and rose through the ranks, making his first-team debut in the 2005/06 season.

Manchester City

In 2006, Hart signed for Manchester City and was initially sent to the club's academy. He made his City debut in October 2006 and became the first-choice goalkeeper by the start of the 2012/13 season. After the arrival of Pep Guardiola as manager in 2016, Hart was deemed surplus to requirements and spent a season on loan at Italian Serie A club Torino.

Loan Spells

Hart has also spent time on loan at Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool, and Birmingham City. His loan spell at Birmingham in 2009/10 saw him named in the PFA Team of the Year.

West Ham United

In July 2017, Hart joined West Ham United on a season-long loan. The club has an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

International Career

Hart made his debut for the England national team in 2008 and was part of the squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2012. He has since established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper for England, appearing in all four matches at Euro 2016.
