Early Life and Club Career

Sebastian Mila was born on July 10, 1982, in Koszalin, Poland. He showed great potential in football from a young age and was scouted by professional teams while still a teenager. He started his career playing for Gwardia Koszalin and later represented Bałtyk Koszalin, Lechia Gdańsk, and Wisła Płock.

Mila gained wider recognition during his time at Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski when he scored the winning goal against Manchester City in a UEFA Cup match. This goal eliminated the star-studded English team from the competition and allowed Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski to continue their cup campaign.

Mila had a brief stint with FK Austria Wien from 2005 to 2006 but struggled to adapt to the new league. He then considered a move to the American club Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer but ultimately chose to join Norway's Vålerenga instead. After a short spell with ŁKS Łódź, Mila signed a contract with Śląsk Wrocław in 2008, where he has been playing ever since.

During his first season with Śląsk Wrocław, Mila led the team to win the national championship and was later appointed as the captain. He has played over 160 games for the club and has scored more than 30 goals.

Overall, Sebastian Mila has had a successful career as a professional footballer, both at the club and international levels. His memorable goal against Germany showcased his talent and contributed to a significant victory for the Polish national team.
