Ernest Biller was born in the United States and began his athletics career as a jumper. In 1904, he participated in the Summer Olympics in St. Louis, Missouri. Despite being a newcomer to the Olympic stage, Biller impressed with his performance in three disciplines. He secured the bronze medal in the standing long jump, finishing third behind Ray Ewry and Charles King. Biller also showcased his abilities in the standing high jump and discus throw, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
