Early Life and Education
American actress Johnna Dias-Watson was born on October 4, 1999, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Growing up with her older sister Brie, their mother, who was once a theater actress, sparked Johnna's passion for theater. At the age of 4, Johnna made her stage debut.
After high school, she moved to London and enrolled in the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama's acting program. There, she joined the Richard Burton Theatre Company, performing in acclaimed productions such as "Tartuffe" and "Hamlet." She graduated in 2020.
Film Debut
While still residing in Arizona, Johnna appeared in several documentaries. In 2020, she landed her first lead role in the romantic short film "I Got You."
Breakthrough with "Wednesday"
In fall 2021, Johnna was cast as Divina in the Netflix series "Wednesday." The show, which follows the titular Addams Family character, skyrocketed the young actress to stardom. Johnna's portrayal of a hypnotic siren earned her critical acclaim.
