Jolanda Neff: A Cycling Triumph
International SuccessJolanda Neff, a Swiss cyclist, boasts an impressive career spanning various cycling disciplines. Currently racing for Trek Factory Racing in cross-country and cyclocross, she has achieved remarkable feats. In 2020, she claimed the gold medal in the women's cross-country event at the Olympic Games.
Her dominance in mountain biking is evident from her two consecutive UCI World Cup overall titles in 2014 and 2015. She also secured three Under-23 World Championship titles (2012, 2013, 2014). In 2017, she ascended to the Elite ranks, becoming the UCI World Champion in Cairns.
Multifaceted Champion
Neff's versatility extends beyond mountain biking. At the 2015 European Games in Baku, she earned Switzerland's first gold medal in the women's cross-country event. Her national prowess was further showcased when she captured the Swiss Road Race Championship title in the same month.
Her legacy continued to grow with victories in the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships (2016) and the UCI Mountain Bike XCO World Championships (2017). She triumphed at the European Mountain Bike Championships in Cathkin Braes, Scotland, in August 2018.
Olympic Glory
In October 2018, Neff announced her move to Trek – Segafredo for road racing and Trek Factory Racing for mountain biking and cyclocross. Her Olympic triumph came to fruition at the rescheduled 2020 Tokyo Games in July 2021.
Her gold medal, along with the silver and bronze medals won by teammates Sina Frei and Linda Indergand, marked the first Swiss Olympic podium sweep in cycling since 1904.

Neff has been in a relationship with American mountain bike racer Luca Shaw since 2018.
