Jonathan Birch: Snooker Professional
Jonathan Birch is an English former professional snooker player. He turned professional in 1991 after winning the under-21 World Championship (1987) and reaching the final of the World Amateur Championship (1989).
Early Career and Achievements
Birch's highest ranking was 42nd (1998/99 season). He reached the last 16 of several tournaments during his career, including the 1990 UK Championship in his debut season. He also reached the last 16 of the European Open, Strachan Open, and last 32 of the Grand Prix, Dubai Classic, China International, and Lada Classic. Notably, his best results came early in his professional career, reaching the semi-final of the Benson & Hedges Championship in 1992.

In addition to snooker, Jonathan Birch also plays English billiards at an amateur level.
