Early Career

In the following years, Jordan Knight took piano lessons and began writing songs himself. Maurice Starr, the primary songwriter of the group, was open to including songs written by the teenagers in NKOTB's repertoire. By 1988, NKOTB had sold over 90 million albums worldwide. They performed concerts around the world and paved the way for boy bands like the "Backstreet Boys" and "NSYNC." Jordan Knight was listed in "People Magazine's" 50 Most Beautiful People.

In 1999, Jordan Knight released his album "Give It To You," which went platinum in many countries, selling over a million copies. The album's main single reached the 10th position on the Billboard Hot 100 and 35th on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. The dance video for this song was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award. Knight's debut album won the Aspire Music Award for Best Male Album in the pop category.

In 2004, Jordan Knight released a remix album of "New Kids on the Block" songs. The following year, he presented the album "The Fix." The single "Where is Your Heart Tonight" from this release reached the 12th position on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. Knight went on tour to support his new album.

In 2006, Jordan Knight released his most recent solo album to date, titled "Love Songs." The first single from the album, "Say Goodbye," a duet with Deborah Gibson, reached the 24th position on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart.
