Jordan Pickford is an English footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Everton in the Premier League and the England national team.

Early Career

Pickford began his football career at the age of eight, playing for Sunderland. In 2011, he signed his first professional contract with the club, and the following year, he extended his contract. In January 2012, Pickford went on loan to Darlington for one month, which was later extended until the end of April. During his time at Darlington, he played 17 matches. Unfortunately, the team was relegated from the Football Conference Premier and eventually dissolved.

Loan Spells

On February 25, 2013, Pickford went on loan to Alfreton Town. He played 12 matches during his loan spell, keeping five clean sheets. On August 2, 2013, he was loaned to Burton Albion and made his debut for the team on August 3 against Cheltenham Town. He played a total of 12 matches for Burton Albion. On February 8, 2014, Pickford joined Carlisle United on loan and made his debut for the team on the same day against Gillingham. He played 18 matches for Carlisle United.

Return to Sunderland
