American Boy, Who Killed His Father
The sentence of 12-year-old Joseph Hall, who killed his father in 2011, has recently been postponed. The court has decided to continue testing Joseph for mental instability. In early May 2011, 10-year-old Joseph killed Jeffrey Hall in his sleep, and at that time, news of this young cold-blooded killer appeared in all crime news. Jeffrey was shot by his own son with his own gun. There were different opinions, including the claim that Jeffrey was a Nazi and the leader of the National Socialist Movement, which was said to be the motive for Joseph becoming a murderer. It is difficult to say whether this is true or if this was the motive for the murder, but there is information that the boy grew up in an atmosphere of violence. He changed several schools, where he was consistently expelled for bad behavior and aggression. The parents could hardly control him, and by the age of 10, young Joseph had experienced many things in life, including drugs.
By the way, the boy's lawyers insisted that he was not responsible for his actions because his mental state had been suffering since early childhood - Joseph and his four siblings constantly lived in an atmosphere of fear. The defense argued that he killed his father because he was afraid of the impending divorce between his father and stepmother, which would result in the collapse of the family. During the initial hearings, Joseph was ultimately found guilty of second-degree murder. The judge noted that there was no doubt that the boy fully understood what he was doing and how wrong it was.
Hall was sent to a juvenile correctional facility, and in 2013, his case once again caught public attention. The defense presented new conclusions regarding the boy's mental state, and this time the court postponed the sentencing. So, 12-year-old Joseph Hall, the killer of his own father, still awaits his sentence.
