Biography of Josie Bissett
Josie Bissett is an American actress, best known for her role as Jane Mancini in the television series "Melrose Place". She was born in Seattle, Washington. At the age of 12, Bissett made her first on-screen appearance, primarily in various advertising projects. After gaining some experience, she decided to pursue her career seriously and left her family home at the age of 16 to go to Japan. A year later, Bissett moved to Hollywood, California.

In the early 1990s, Bissett landed a regular role in the comedy series "The Hogan Family" and worked on the show for two seasons. In 1992, she received a significant role as fashion designer Jane Andrews-Mancini in the popular soap opera "Melrose Place". Bissett remained with the show for four and a half seasons but had to leave in 1996 due to health problems (she suffered a miscarriage). However, she returned for the final season of "Melrose Place" in 1998. In 2009 and 2010, Bissett made guest appearances in two episodes of the show's reboot launched by The CW.

Bissett also had roles in several feature films, including Oliver Stone's "The Doors" in 1991, where she played Robbie Krieger's girlfriend. She also appeared in films such as "Book of Love" and "Mikey". Bissett tried her hand at hosting television shows related to parenting issues, where she helped parents find unconventional solutions to typical educational problems.

Josie Bissett has graced the covers of magazines such as "TV Guide", "Rolling Stone", "Entertainment Weekly", "Shape's Fit Pregnancy", and "New Woman". She has also appeared in various medical and cosmetic product advertising campaigns.

In 1992, Bissett married "Melrose Place" co-star Rob Estes, and they divorced in 2006. They have two children together.
