Following the November 9, 2020 ceasefire agreement, Karen Jalavyan refused to abandon his positions, some of which were to be handed over to Azerbaijan. Subsequently, the Artsakh Ministry of Defense confirmed that the "Ekhnikner" unit would continue its combat duties in its designated area.
