Karen Karagulian, an Armenian-American actor, producer, and screenwriter, was born in 1969. With his native tongue being Armenian, he is fluent in Russian and English. Karagulian's breakout role came in 2000 with the independent film "Four Letter Words," directed by Sean Baker.

In 2004, Karagulian joined Baker's film "Take Out," portraying a Chinese immigrant. His role as Levon, a shopkeeper in "Prince of Broadway" (2008), earned him critical acclaim and award nominations.
