Early Life and Career
Carlos Alberto Tévez, born Carlos Alberto Martínez, emerged from humble beginnings in the notorious Buenos Aires suburb of "Fuerte Apache." Raised in poverty alongside four siblings, he acquired the nickname "Apache." His childhood was marked by a horrific accident at the age of ten months, when he spilled boiling water on himself and suffered third-degree burns. Club Career
Boca JuniorsTévez's professional career commenced at Boca Juniors at the tender age of sixteen. On October 21, 2001, he made his debut against Talleres. During his tenure at Boca, he achieved notable success, including the Argentine Primera División title (2003), Copa Libertadores (2003), Copa Sudamericana (2004), and Intercontinental Cup (2003). His performances earned him the accolades of Argentine Footballer of the Year and Argentine Sportsman of the Year in 2004.
Corinthians
In December 2004, Tévez moved to Brazilian club Corinthians for a record-breaking $20 million fee.
