Early Life and Career
Karolína Erbanová is a Czech speed skater who made her World Cup debut at the age of sixteen in the 2008/2009 season. Together with Andrea Jirku and Martina Sáblíková, she won the World Cup in the team pursuit event.
Olympic Debut
At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, seventeen-year-old Erbanová competed in three events. She placed 23rd in the 500m, 12th in the 1000m, and 25th in the 1500m. In the same year, she finished third at the World Junior Championships.
Junior World Champion
In 2011, Erbanová became the World Junior Champion.World Championships Success
In 2015, she won bronze medals at two World Championships - in the 1000m in Heerenveen and in the sprint allround in Astana.
European Champion
In 2017, Erbanová won the inaugural European Championships in the sprint allround, placing second in all four races.

Erbanová trains with Olympic champion Martina Sáblíková under coach Petr Novák.
