Early Life and Education
Kartik Aaryan was born on November 22, 1990, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. His parents, both doctors, initially envisioned him pursuing bioengineering. However, from 10th grade, Kartik's passion lay in acting.
Despite enrolling in engineering college, he often skipped classes to attend auditions. He shared an apartment with aspiring actors, cooking for his roommates to support himself.
Film Career
Aaryan made his breakthrough in 2011 with the romantic comedy "Pyaar Ka Punchnama." He reprised his role in "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2" in 2015. "Guest iin London" (2017) blended comedy and drama in a marriage of convenience amidst the backdrop of 9/11.
In 2019, Aaryan starred in "Luka Chuppi" as Chintu Tyagi, a character grappling with societal judgments and marital turmoil. He explored similar themes in "Pati Patni Aur Woh" (2019).
"Dhamaka" (2021), an Indo-South Korean co-production, showcased Aaryan's range as a journalist facing ethical dilemmas during a terrorist siege.
Personal Life
Known for his charming personality and towering height of 183 cm, Aaryan enjoys photography, video games, table tennis, and football. Although a vegetarian, he consumed 25 eggs daily for his role in "Akaash Vani" (2013).
Aaryan has had relationships with co-stars Sara Ali Khan and Pashmina Roshan. He currently owns a McLaren GT, Lamborghini Urus, and BMW 5 Series.
Recent Projects
In 2023, Aaryan starred in the action-comedy-drama "Shehzada," co-producing the film and playing the lead male role alongside Kriti Sanon.
