Early Life and FamilyKatey Sagal was born on January 19, 1954, in Hollywood, California, USA. She was born into a show business family, as her father was a director and her mother was a producer. Her two twin sisters, Jean and Liz, also became actresses, and her brother Joe pursued a career in acting.
Education and Early Career
Sagal received her education at the California Institute of the Arts and applied her knowledge to the art of filmmaking. From 1971 to 1975, she appeared in several television films and even had a guest role in an episode of "Columbo". In 1973, she worked as a backing vocalist for artists such as Bob Dylan and Tanya Tucker.
Acting and Music Career
