Katie Finneran, an American film, theater, and television actress, was born on January 22, 1971. She grew up in Miami, Florida and after high school, she attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. However, she moved to New York after just one year to pursue her acting career, at the age of 19.

Aside from her acting profession, Finneran had to take on various odd jobs to support herself. She worked as a ring girl during boxing matches, a waitress, and a consultant in the perfume department of Bloomingdale's.

Finneran's most notable film role was in the remake of George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead." She also appeared in films such as "You've Got Mail," "Chicken Little," "Bewitched," "Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous," and "Death to Smoochy." On television, Finneran is best known for her role as Sharon Tyler in the short-lived Fox series "Wonderfalls." She also appeared in the TV series "The Inside," "Bram and Alice," and had guest roles in shows like "Frasier," "Sex and the City," and "Oz."
