Ekaterina Korol: Star Designer and Reality TV Icon

Early Life and Education

Ekaterina Korol was born and raised in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, where her passion for art emerged at a young age. She pursued her artistic talent alongside her general education, attending a specialized art school and winning the regional "New Names of Ukraine" competition. Continuing her studies, she graduated from the Nikolaev Technical College of Light Industry as a fashion designer and cutter.

Fashion Career

After graduating, Korol obtained a higher education in Fine and Decorative Arts from the Nikolaev branch of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. She founded her own fashion brand, "Korol," specializing in leather apparel. She showcased her designs at various fashion competitions, including those hosted by renowned designers Vyacheslav Zaitsev and Valentin Yudashkin.

Korol's work has graced the wardrobes of prominent athletes and entertainers, including the Russian figure skating team and Anita Tsoi's ballet. She has also collaborated with bands such as Vintage, Gone with the Wind, and singer Anna Pletnyova.

Reality TV Stardom: "Dom-2"

In 2013, Korol joined the cast of the popular reality TV show "Dom-2." She initially claimed to be interested in the controversial participant, Ventseslav Vengrzhanovskiy, but it was later revealed that they had met prior to the show. On the show, they formed a relatively stable relationship.

Despite her time on the show, Korol continued to pursue her passion for fashion design. She brought a sewing machine, fabrics, and accessories into the house and designed outfits for the "Miss Airy Charm" contest. She also became known for her eccentric behavior, unconventional appearance, and amusing antics.

Korol left "Dom-2" after nine months, following her breakup with Vengrzhanovskiy. However, she returned in 2015 as part of the show's "revolution," which brought back some of its most notable former participants.

Personal Life and Other Ventures

Korol was married for seven years to a man she met in Mykolaiv. They divorced due to irreconcilable differences, despite having a son, Mark. After moving to Moscow, Korol's mother has primarily raised her son.

Following her first departure from "Dom-2," Korol entered into a fictitious marriage with Vengrzhanovskiy to obtain Russian citizenship and provide him with a place of residence. They later annulled the marriage.

Ngoài "Dom-2," Korol has dabbled in music, recording songs and releasing music videos.
