Early Life and Education
Cayo Blat was born in São Paulo, Brazil. The son of Catalan immigrants, his surname Blat means "wheat" in Catalan. At the age of eight, he was discovered at an advertising agency and soon became a familiar face in commercials. Despite attending the prestigious University of São Paulo to study law, he dropped out to pursue an acting career.

Acting Career
Blat has appeared in over 200 productions across television, film, and theater. A self-taught actor, he has never completed a degree in performing arts. In 2006, he joined the cast of the telenovela remake "Sinhá Moça" as the abolitionist Mário. He also participated in two plays that year: "Mordendo os Lábios" and "O Mundo é um Moinho."

Television and Theater
In 2007, Blat played the role of Xavier in the TV series "Amazônia, de Galvez a Chico Mendes." He also continued to perform in theater, with productions including "Two Gentlemen of Verona" and "Chorus." That same year, he received the São Paulo Citizen of the Year Award in the actor category for his contributions to the city.
Personal Life
Blat is an active volunteer for a charity organization that cares for 400 underprivileged children in Campinas, São Paulo. It was there that he met his adopted son, Antônio. In 2006, he began a relationship with actress Maria Ribeiro, whom he married in November 2007. Their son, Bento, was born in January 2010. Blat is a firm believer in Spiritism.
