Early Career
Japanese voice actress, Maegami Tarou, began her voice acting career with "Kiraboshi" talent agency in 1977, voicing the role of Tomiko Ota in "Ashita e Attack!" In subsequent years, she lent her voice to "Mirai Shounen Conan" (1978), "Akage no Anne" (1979), "Doraemon: Nobita No Kyoryu" (1980), and "Tom Sawyer no Bouken" (1980).
Notable Roles in the 1980s
Tarou's career gained momentum in the 1980s, with notable roles including Nanny in "Voltron" (1981), Jean in "Alps Monogatari Watashi no Annette" (1983), and Amma in "Kidou Senshi Gundam ZZ" (1986). She also provided the voice of the Oni Leader in "Urusei Yatsura Movie 1" (1983).
