Early Life and Family

Kenneth Davitian was born on June 19, 1953, in East Los Angeles, California, to Armenian parents. His father, a Soviet soldier captured by Nazis during World War II, was assigned to the Armenian Legion of the Wehrmacht in Stuttgart. After the war, he immigrated to the United States with the assistance of George Mardikian.

Acting Career

Davitian's first acting role came in the 1980s music video "Cherub Rock" by The Smashing Pumpkins. He went on to appear in various films and television shows, including "Six Feet Under" and "The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day." His most famous role was as Azamat Bagatov in the 2006 film "Borat," where he spoke a Western Armenian dialect.

Restaurant Ownership

In 2003, Davitian opened a hot dog restaurant called The Dip in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. The restaurant, which features a baseball theme, is run by his son Robert. It offers a variety of hot dog options, including the "Charlie Sheen Dog with Tiger Blood," inspired by the actor's infamous quote.
