Kęstutis Ivaškevičius: Lithuanian Midfielder
Kęstutis Ivaškevičius is a Lithuanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He has represented the Lithuania national team and has played for several clubs throughout his career.
Early Career and Club Football
Born in Klaipėda, Lithuania, Ivaškevičius began his professional career with his hometown club, Atlantas, in 2003. In 2004, he joined Kaunas and won the Lithuanian championship and cup that season. After a brief loan spell with Šilutė in 2005, Ivaškevičius returned to Kaunas and won the league title again in 2006.
Loans to Scotland and Ukraine
In the summer of 2006, Ivaškevičius was loaned to Scottish club Heart of Midlothian. After two years in Scotland, he returned to Kaunas in 2008. In 2009, he moved to Ukrainian club Krivbas Krivoy Rog, where he made 13 appearances in the Premier League.
Career in Israel
In the summer of 2010, Ivaškevičius signed a three-year contract with Israeli club Bnei Yehuda.
International Career
Ivaškevičius has represented Lithuania at various youth levels. He made his debut for the senior national team in 2007 and has earned over 20 caps.
