Kevin Briceño: Costa Rican Goalkeeper
Early CareerKevin Briceño, a Costa Rican goalkeeper, began his football journey in his hometown of Nicoya. He played for the local club Guanacaste before joining Brujas FC in the Costa Rican Primera División in 2010. A year later, he moved to Orión FC.
Professional Debut
On January 15, 2012, Briceño made his professional debut for Orión against Limón FC. In mid-2012, he joined Uruguay de Coronado FC, where he spent two years before signing with Deportivo Saprissa.
Club Career
Briceño has been a key player for Deportivo Saprissa since joining the club in 2014. He has won three Costa Rican Primera División titles with Saprissa: Invierno 2014, Invierno 2015, and Invierno 2016.
International Career
Briceño has represented Costa Rica at various youth levels. He was part of the Costa Rican squad that won the CONCACAF U-20 Championship in 2011 and participated in the FIFA U-20 World Cup the same year.
