Early Life and Career
Kalifa Bayebegan his professional football career with Martiguesin France. He later joined Olympique Marseille, where he made a single appearance in Ligue 1 against Toulouse on May 15, 2004, receiving a red card in the 54th minute.
Loan Spells at Pau and Metz
Bay was then sent on loan to Pau, featuring in 27 matches and scoring one goal. In February 2006, rumors emerged that he had joined Ukrainian club Metalurh Donetskon a loan deal with an option to sign permanently.
Return to France and Kazakhstan
After his loan spell, Bay returned to France and played for Libourneand Pauonce more. In March 2010, he was transferred to Kazakhstan's Aktobe.
