Early Career: Reigniting the FlameBorn in Thiès, Senegal, Babacar's footballing journey began at the ASC Rail Academy. After impressing locally, he embarked on a life-changing move to Italy in 2007, joining Pescara. His exceptional talent soon caught the attention of Fiorentina, who acquired him a year later.
Debut and Early Success
In December 2009, Babacar's dream came true as he joined the renowned Fiorentina first-team squad for training. His official debut arrived in the Coppa Italia last 16 match against Chievo. Not only did he make a memorable entrance, but he also scored the equalizer, making it 2-2. After a winning goal from Adrian Mutu, Babacar was substituted for his Primavera teammate, Federico Carraro.
