Biography of Kim Hyun Woo
Kim Hyun Woo is a Korean Greco-Roman wrestler who has achieved great success in his career. He is an Olympic champion, a world champion, and a two-time Asian champion.
Early Career
Kim Hyun Woo began his journey in martial arts at the age of nine, starting with judo. However, at the age of thirteen, he transitioned to wrestling, where he quickly began to excel.
Championship Success
In 2003, Kim won the Asian Cadet Championship, and he repeated this success in 2005. In 2006, he finished second at the World Championship and first at the Asian Junior Championship. In 2007, he placed third at the Junior World Championship.
In 2010, Kim became the Asian champion in the adult category. He finished seventh at the Asian Games and eighth at the World Championship. In 2011, he won the bronze medal at the World Championship and the silver medal at the World Cup. He also emerged victorious at the FILA test tournament.
