Kim Mills is a British woman who recently underwent a breast reduction surgery. For a long time, she had been trying to get the NHS to pay for the expensive operation. Unable to find a suitable dress, the bride had to compromise and choose an outfit that stood out from the rest of the wedding party. It was at this moment that Mills decided it was time to get rid of her large bust.
After contacting medical professionals, Mills learned that she did not meet the necessary requirements for the operation. The main obstacle was her excess weight. However, she quickly found a suitable diet and lost 31 kilograms in a short period. Unfortunately, her breast size did not decrease during this time, giving the NHS doctors another reason to turn her down. Mills submitted five applications for funding the operation at her local NHS office and received five consecutive rejections.
In May 2014, Mills's situation took an unexpected turn. Representatives from the cosmetic surgery company 'Aurora' contacted her and offered her a free operation. The procedure, which would have cost £7000, was agreed to be done for free as part of a charitable project. Within a month, Mills was admitted to a private hospital in Chelmsford. Surgeon Garrick Georgeu removed 3.6 kilograms of glandular tissue, reducing her breast size by 11 cup sizes. Mills had not worn such a size since her teenage years.
Getting rid of this heavy burden is expected to significantly improve Mills's life. She is now eager to try all the things she was previously deprived of due to her large bust. Mills expresses her gratitude to the surgeons who performed the operation, as without their intervention, her dream of having a reduced bust would have remained just that, a dream.
