Childhood and Early LifeKim Taehyung, known professionally as V, was born on December 30, 1995, in Daegu, South Korea. Raised on a farm, he developed an early interest in music and enrolled in saxophone lessons. Despite his dedication, he struggled to progress and eventually discontinued the lessons. Trainee Days and BTS Debut
In 2011, Taehyung auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment and became a trainee. For two years, he underwent rigorous training in dance, acting, language, and vocal performance. In 2013, he debuted as part of the global phenomenon, BTS (Bangtan Boys).
Acting Career
In addition to his music career, V made his acting debut in the 2016 Korean drama "Hwarang: The Beginning," portraying the role of Han Sung. He received critical acclaim for his performance and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to explore the character's emotions.
