Biography of Konstantin Grubich

Konstantin Grubich, born on August 20, 1968, in Poltava, is a Ukrainian television presenter and culinary expert. Since 2013, he has been a part of the popular family entertainment show "Vse bude dobre" ("Everything Will Be Fine") on the television channel "STB".

Early Life and Education

In 1981, Konstantin spent time in the "Artek" camp, at the "Yantarny" campsite. During his school years, he was awarded a voucher for his active participation and for being a scout. In 1982, he began writing articles for newspapers. In 1992, he graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, majoring in Journalism.

Career Highlights

From 1987 to 1989, Konstantin served in the Soviet Army in Zabaykalsky Krai and contributed to the editorial team of the newspaper "Boevoye Znamya" ("Battle Flag"). He became a member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR, being the youngest member at that time. In 1989, he started working for UT-1, a Ukrainian television channel.

From 1992 to 1994, he was the author and host of the show "Klass-yunior-biznes" ("Class Junior Business"). From 1995 to 1997, he hosted the award-winning talk show "Vybrіky" ("Whims"), which was honored with the "Golden Era" award for the best talk show. In late 1997, Konstantin moved to "1+1" channel.

In 1998, he hosted the show "Detskyy seans" ("Children's Session"). From 1998 to 1999, he was the author and host of the show "Ne vsi doma" ("Not Everyone at Home"). From 2000 to 2005, he worked as a reporter for "TSN" (Television News Service).

In December 2005, Konstantin started writing scripts for the show "Vkusnaya strana" ("Tasty Country"). From September to November 2006, he hosted the show "Glukhomaniya s Konstantinom Grubichem" ("Deafness with Konstantin Grubich"). From November 2006 to May 2007, he hosted the morning show "Zavtrak s 1+1" ("Breakfast with 1+1"). From May to August 2007, he hosted the show "Vkusnaya strana" ("Tasty Country").

From August 2007 to November 2012, he hosted the show "Znak kachestva" ("Quality Mark") on the "Inter" channel and served as its leader. Since 2010, he has been a senior lecturer at the Department of Presenters, Announcers, and Television Journalism at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, teaching the course "Author Programs of Ukrainian Television". Since September 2012, he has been teaching the discipline of "Scriptwriting".

Since 2013, Konstantin has been a culinary expert on the popular family entertainment show "Vse bude dobre" ("Everything Will Be Fine") on the "STB" channel. Additionally, since 2016, he has been hosting the show "Utrennya volna" ("Morning Wave") on "Obshchestvennoye Radio" ("Public Radio").


In August 2006, Konstantin Grubich received the national award "Teletriumf" as the Best Journalist-Reporter of the Year.

Personal Life

Konstantin is married to Svetlana, whom he met during the filming of a concert by Philipp Kirkorov in 1994. Svetlana is the director of the show "Znak kachestva" ("Quality Mark"). They have two daughters, Vladislava (born on February 12, 1996) and Olga (February 3, 1997 - July 12, 2014). Unfortunately, Olga passed away after being hit by a car and falling into a coma. They also have a son named Yaroslav (born on February 3, 1997).
