Biography of Konstantin Kondakov
Konstantin Kondakov, a renowned financial analyst, expert, trader, and author of three books on financial markets, was born on June 10, 1982, in Melitopol, Zaporizhia Oblast, Ukraine. From a young age, Kondakov showed exceptional mathematical abilities and a strong interest in computer technology. In 2000, he enrolled in the Zaporizhia Institute of State and Municipal Administration, where he later obtained a Master's degree in Administrative Management.
After completing his studies, Kondakov decided to venture into entrepreneurship, choosing the promising field of information technology. His company provided consulting and outsourcing services, as well as website development and promotion. Despite achieving significant success in the consulting business, Kondakov eventually chose stock trading as his primary focus.
Kondakov came to the realization that Forex is an organism that lives its own life and dictates its rules to traders. By understanding its mood, one can ensure profitable trades. These observations formed the basis of Kondakov's theory "Forex Chart - Alive!": he compared price growth on a chart to inhaling and price decline to exhaling. This theory later became the foundation of his third book, "Psychology of Trading," which was published in 2013 and gained worldwide success. Today, Kondakov's books are sold in both traditional bookstores and the Apple Store.
Kondakov is one of the few analysts in the financial markets who consistently made accurate forecasts about currency movements over the years. These forecasts were relayed by brokerage companies, and Kondakov's name was used as a promotional tool to attract clients.
In 2012, Kondakov co-founded the Institute for Economic Development in Ukraine, which brought together renowned scholars in the fields of economics, sociology, and political science. The organization aimed to improve financial literacy among the population and develop the stock market.
In the same year, Kondakov became a certified trader on the Ukrainian stock market and started working as an analyst and specialist in exchange operations at the licensed Ukrainian company, "MMCSIS Investments."
In 2005, Kondakov initiated the establishment of a charitable organization that continues its work to this day. He firmly believes that everyone should do good deeds and remains committed to helping those in need.
In 2013, Kondakov was awarded the prestigious "Person of the Year" prize in the "Patron of the Arts" category in Ukraine. He deeply believes in God and considers this belief as a crucial factor in his success.
However, Kondakov's career was not without controversy. He was involved in two high-profile scandals related to the MMCIS group of companies, for which he provided his services as an analyst.
In 2013, Kondakov actively promoted "MMCSIS Investments" on the stock market and participated in its advertising campaign. However, the company failed to establish a common ground with the Securities and Stock Market Commission, resulting in the revocation of its license. Nevertheless, Kondakov proved his innocence in the Supreme Court, which restored his reputation in the market.
The second scandal involving MMCIS was associated with the non-resident company MMCISinc., which Kondakov also promoted. In 2014, the company faced difficulties in paying its clients, attributing it to a raid attack and the seizure of its working capital by intermediary companies processing payments in Russia. However, media articles were published alleging that Kondakov intentionally bankrupted the company. Kondakov vehemently denied these claims, stating that he was only a trader and analyst and had no involvement in handling payments or other internal company affairs.
Following these scandals, Kondakov announced his departure from the financial market to return to the IT industry. He cited his unwillingness to risk his reputation and depend on uncontrollable risks as the reasons for this decision. The subsequent bankruptcies of Ukrainian banks further solidified his resolve to leave the financial market.
Kondakov's career has been marked by both successes and controversies, but his contributions to the field of financial analysis and his dedication to philanthropy remain noteworthy.
