Chris Allen is an American pop musician who has earned numerous compliments for his folk interpretations of modern pop songs, as well as his excellent skills in playing various instruments such as acoustic and electric guitar, piano, and keyboards.

Early Life and Education

Chris Allen, whose full name is Christopher Neil Allen, was born on June 21, 1985, in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He is the eldest son of Neil Allen and Kimberly (née Wood) Allen. He has a younger brother named Daniel, who is studying at the University of Central Arkansas and is part of the support group.

Allen attended Murrell Taylor Elementary School, then transferred to Fuller Middle School, and later enrolled at Mills University Studies College. During his time in college, Allen actively participated in the school orchestra, playing the violin. His goal was to become a member of the State Orchestra. At the age of thirteen, while playing the violin, Chris taught himself how to play the guitar. In addition to the guitar, he can also play the piano and Hawaiian guitar.

In 2007, Chris Allen, along with his college friends Michael Holmes and Chase Erwin, formed their own music band. Allen played the guitar, Holmes played the drums, and Erwin played the bass. He auditioned in Louisville, Kentucky, alongside his brother Daniel, performing the song "I Want You Back." Allen was invited to Hollywood for the final show, but Daniel couldn't join him. On September 26, 2008, Chris Allen married Katie O'Connell Allen, whom he had been dating for a long time.
