Kilmarnock Roots

On August 25, 1999, Chris Boyd joined Kilmarnock, making his debut against Celtic in the final match of the 2000/01 season.

Rangers Revolution

On December 22, 2005, Boyd's transfer to Rangers was announced, with the move taking effect on January 1, 2006. In a remarkable match against Dundee United on December 30, 2009, Boyd scored an astounding five goals, surpassing Henrik Larsson's record as the Scottish Premier League's all-time top scorer.

Departure from Scotland
