Biography of Kristen Ashley

American writer Kristen Ashley admits that all she wanted in life was to pursue her beloved writing career. Perhaps she wouldn't mind becoming the "queen of the world," but Ashley understands that you have to start small. She has published numerous books, where, as she notes herself, she jumps between genres, but never gives up the three main ingredients - humor, engaging characters, and romance.

Kristen Ashley

Kristen Ashley was born into a middle-class family in the city of Gary, Indiana, USA. She calls herself the "last of a dying breed." She nearly killed her mother and died herself when she entered this world. There was an umbilical cord wrapped around Kristen's neck, and the little girl couldn't take her first breath independently. Speaking of the difficulties of her birth, Ashley referred to the umbilical cord as her very first "accessory" around her neck. Her mother said that after they took away the newborn, they put the mother back in the room, where she watched the city of Gary engulfed in flames through the window. Four days before that, Martin Luther King Jr. was killed. Ashley's mother perceived these chaotic events in her mind as nothing short of the end of the world. Quite a dramatic start for little Kristen, isn't it?

Kristen Ashley

Kristen loves movies, music, food, and fashion. However, she has twice as much music and food in her life than the first and last of the four listed. Watching movies unfortunately takes up a lot of time, and a passion for fashion requires a lot of money. Ashley claims that she loves to eat so much that she can't help but share her recipes with everyone. Her website has a whole section where the writer will teach you how to bake the "Milky Way" cake, chocolate-filled "snowballs," "snickerdoodles" (cookies), and more.

Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana, and lived in Denver, Colorado, and the Southwest England region. This variety of places of residence helped Ashley meet many friends and families all around the world. She considered her own family eccentric but in the best sense. Growing up, Ashley absorbed the music of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, and rock bands REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake. Under this repertoire, Kristen chose a suitable wardrobe. Needless to say, such an environment, filled with music, attire, and love, is the best for nurturing a well-rounded personality.

Kristen adds that she continues to grow and become better and better. The truth of her words can be seen in her own works. Let's take a look at the first book from her unfinished trilogy titled "Matilda the Super Witch." In the first part, "Matilda's Diary (Matilda's Book of Shadows)," a certain Matilda Hanikatt learns on Halloween night that she is a super witch. After living a perfectly ordinary life as a retail trader and café owner, Matilda enters the secret world of witches, warlocks, werewolves, vampires, fairies, and headless horsemen.

Matilda unveils her magical powers and discovers that she was destined to save the world. The problem is that instead of developing her abilities, she prefers to spend her time bidding on internet auctions to get designer shoes at a bargain price. The super witch must find out what the silent, watchful, yet so tempting Sebastian Wilding, a member of the secretive Society, truly represents. He promised to keep her safe. Perhaps it is fated for him to become the father of her children or die for her.

Matilda is also destined to uncover what is happening with the intelligent, charismatic, and hot Dr. Aidan Seymour, an independent member of the Royal Institute of Psychic Research. The doctor may also be destined to be the father of her children. Fate has prepared Matilda for a battle with her sworn enemy, a powerful witch capable of playing an unfair game.

Kristen Ashley's books are available not only in print and electronic formats but also in audio format. Her works have been influenced by Janet Evanovich, Judith McNaught, J.K. Rowling, and Carl Hiaasen.
