Biography of Kristina Kuzmina
Kristina Kuzmina Alexeevna was born on March 1, 1980, in Leningrad. Her father is an engineer, and her mother is a doctor. Kristina was introduced to the world of theater by her aunt, actress Nelli Popova. From a young age, Kristina was captivated by the stage and dreamed of becoming an actress. She studied piano at a music school and honed her acting skills in the children's musical theater named after Viktor Reznikov, preparing herself to become an actress in the future. However, even before becoming an actress, Kristina successfully tried her hand in other fields. Since the age of 14, she worked as a model in the Modus Vivendi agency and appeared in various advertising campaigns. She even became the face of Petersburg TV channel. In addition, her passion for music led her to Radio Record, and soon Kristina became the youngest DJ in St. Petersburg, performing in clubs and touring across Russia.
Acting Career
In 1997, Kristina Kuzmina enrolled in the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts (SPbGATI) in the course of A.B. Isakov. She did not give up her radio work, but soon realized that combining studies and performances was extremely difficult. To determine her future path, Kristina took an academic leave, during which she realized that the acting profession was more important to her. In 1999, she returned to SPbGATI and was enrolled in the course of Vladislav Borisovich Pazi.
In 2004, Kristina Kuzmina graduated from the academy and, along with other graduates, was invited by Vladislav Pazi to join the Leningrad Theater troupe. She worked at the Leningrad Theater until 2008, performing in plays such as "King, Queen, Jack" (Erika), "Let's See What Happens" (Gloria), "The Creator of Miracles" (Kate), "Woyzeck" (Maria), "The Elder Son" (Makarskaya), "Simplicity is Enough for Every Sage" (Mashenka), and others.
In 2006, Vladislav Pazi passed away. Kristina Kuzmina continued to work at the Leningrad Theater for some time but decided to leave the troupe in 2008. She joined the V.F. Komissarzhevskaya Academic Theater. In her new position, Kristina is engaged in plays such as "An Evening with a Baboon" (Alla), "6 Dishes from One Chicken" (Marina), "Not Far from God" (Katya), "Soap Bubbles" (Magdalena), and others.
