Kriti Sanon, an Indian actress and model, was born on July 27, 1990, in New Delhi. Raised in a Punjabi family, she pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology.
Modeling Career
Sanon's modeling career began after graduating. Standing at an impressive 5'10", she became a renowned face in the fashion industry. She has represented brands such as Coca-Cola, Titan's Rage, Parachute, and Tissot. She has also collaborated with renowned Indian designers like Manish Malhotra, Nikhil Mahajan, and Ritu Beri.
In addition to her modeling achievements, Sanon launched her clothing line, Ms. Taken, in 2016. She also co-founded a fitness startup, The Tribe.
Film Debut and Rise to Stardom
Sanon made her cinematic debut in 2014 with the Telugu blockbuster "Nenokkadine." Her performance alongside Mahesh Babu garnered critical acclaim, despite her fear of water during underwater filming.
Her breakthrough role came in Sabbir Khan's "Heropanti" (2014), for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She then starred alongside Naga Chaitanya in the Telugu film "Dochay" (2015) before making her Hindi debut in Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale" (2015).
