Early Career and Lechia
Krzysztof Piątek was born in Dzierżoniów, Poland, and began his football career with hometown club Lechia. He made his senior debut in 2012 for the club in the lower divisions of Polish football.
Zagłębie Lublin
In 2013, Piątek moved to Zagłębie Lublin. He made his Ekstraklasa debut against Cracovia on May 18. Despite the team's relegation to the First League, Piątek remained with the club and scored his first goal for Zagłębie in a match against Chrobry. He finished the season with 8 goals and helped the club return to the top flight.
Cracovia Kraków
In the summer of 2016, Piątek signed for Cracovia Kraków. He made his debut for the club on September 9 against Lechia Gdańsk. On October 2, he scored his first goals for Cracovia with a brace in a match against Korona Kielce.
International Career
Piątek represented Poland at the U21 level, playing in the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship on home soil. He featured in matches against Slovakia, Sweden, and England.
