Landry explains that he chose Poland as his first professional destination based on recommendations from friends and his agent. They believed it would be a great starting point for his career. He gained valuable experience playing for "Sportino", and then went on to play for "Dexia" in Belgium and "Prostejov" in the Czech Republic.
Not Planning to Stay in the US or Canada
After college, Landry did not plan to play in the US or Canada. He was waiting for offers from European clubs, and his agent did a great job in finding him an excellent club to start his professional career. He did not see opportunities in Canada, as there is only the NBA in the US, and he did not feel welcomed there. When asked about the NBA Development League (D-League), Landry believes it is a dead-end path and finds European basketball much more interesting.
