Early Life and Education
In 1997, Lara Chaklyn graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (RATI) under the guidance of Alexander Borodin.
Theatre Career
For three years, Chaklyn performed on the stage of the Russian Academic Youth Theatre. Her diverse roles included:
- Yukka the dog in "Once Upon a Time..."
- Polina Raskolnikova in "Crime and Punishment"- Vesna in "Shaman and the Snow Maiden"
Later, she joined the Aparte Theatre (Olga in "Sakhalin Wife") and the Central Theatre of the Russian Army (Elena in "The Cherry Orchard").
Film and Television Debut
Chaklyn's film and television career commenced in 2001 with small roles. Her breakthrough came in 2005 with the series "Zone," where she portrayed Marina Shvernik, a strong-willed doctor.
Rise to Fame
After "Zone," Chaklyn gained recognition for her roles in various popular series, such as:
- "Medical Mystery" as Yulia Rusanova
- "The Personal Life of Dr. Selivanova" as Elizaveta Karpova- "Atlantis" as Alena
