ActressLarisa Danilina is a Soviet and Russian actress known for her leading roles in films and her exceptional dubbing work. Her career in acting began in 1962 after graduating from the acting department of VGIK. She starred in several films, including "Traces Vanish from the Stones" (1959), "Forty Minutes to Dawn" (1963) alongside Gleb Strizhenov, and "First Russians" (1967), a film that was later banned and only restored in 2009.
Master of Dubbing
Danilina's dubbing career took off in 1962 when she lent her voice to Monica Vitti in Michelangelo Antonioni's "Eclipse." She went on to dub prominent actresses such as Elizabeth Taylor in "Cleopatra" (1963), Ingrid Bergman in "Cactus Flower" (1969), and Sophia Loren in "Sunflower" (1970). Over the course of her career, she voiced over 200 Soviet and foreign films, including "Murder on the Orient Express" (1974), "The Monster" (1977), and "Gardes-Marines, Forward!" (1987).

Yoga
In the 1960s, Danilina discovered yoga as a way to combat her migraines. In 1991, she began practicing yoga under the system of Indian teacher B. K. S. Iyengar and eventually became a certified instructor. She retired from acting in 1995 and opened her own yoga studio in Moscow, devoting her life to teaching yoga on the Arbat.
