Born in Kazakhstan on May 20th, 1954, Latiff Kazbekov is a renowned artist whose work embodies the balance between traditional figuration and abstraction. A member of the Union of Artists of Russia, he has won numerous awards for his contributions to both fine art and book design.

Early Education and Influences

In 1975, Kazbekov graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Almaty Art College named after N.V. Gogol. He then continued his studies at the Leningrad Institute named after I.E. Repin, where he specialized in book graphics under the tutelage of Professor G.D. Epifanov.
