Biography of Lawrence Bernstein
Lawrence Bernstein, the creator of the "Great Speech Writing" project, has a degree in history from Peterhouse, Cambridge. After his college years, he spent ten years developing marketing strategies and successful brands for banks and wealth management teams. However, writing remained Bernstein's main passion, and he seized every opportunity to engage in his favorite activity, as well as listen to and deliver speeches and presentations.
Discovering the Right Path
During this time, Lawrence recognized the key trends in his work. He realized that he was on the right path as his audience truly listened to him and needed his writing services – this was not merely a fortunate coincidence. Bernstein did not enjoy writing technical texts and getting lost in the details. On the contrary, he consistently succeeded in producing fresh, original, and easily relatable texts.
Passion for Speech Writing
When many of his friends and relatives began getting married one after another, Lawrence dedicated many evenings and weekends to helping compose unforgettable wedding speeches for grooms and friends. This experience brought him more satisfaction than his main job. Contemplating his career, he decided to practice his skills at the "Private Eye" magazine in 2004. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a professional occupation.
The Success of "Great Speech Writing"
Currently, Lawrence Bernstein's "Great Speech Writing" project, with its website of the same name, successfully attracts private and business clients from all over the world. The team behind the website creates top-notch speeches for weddings, anniversaries, formal dinners, sports events, as well as preparing political speeches, speeches for charitable organizations, businessmen, and much more. Bernstein's client base includes numerous groups, ranging from serious representatives of the public sector to fathers of the bride and nervous grooms preparing to deliver speeches at weddings.
The Team Behind "Great Speech Writing"
In addition to Lawrence, the "Great Speech Writing" team includes Dolan Cummings, the project's lead writer with extensive experience. Cummings previously wrote for the BBC, commented on publications in the Scottish press, and organized and conducted public debates in London and other locations on art and international politics.
Hugo Simpson is responsible for the coaching programs of "Great Speech Writing," working one-on-one with clients as well as with groups to help build self-confidence. Simpson teaches his clients the correct body language, posture, and other techniques that are essential attributes for successful public speaking.
Another member of Bernstein's team, Anna Quayle, handles accounts, marketing issues, and a significant amount of administrative work.
