Biography of Lazaros Papadopoulos

Lazaros Papadopoulos is a Greek basketball player who played as a center. He was born on June 3, 1980, in Krasnodar. His father is of Pontic Greek descent, while his mother is Russian. Lazaros considers himself to be more Greek. In 1990, he moved to Thessaloniki with his parents, Theodoros and Marina, and his younger sister Agapi.

In August 2002, Lazaros married and he has two daughters named Danae and Nefeli. He is also the chairman of the Greek basketball players' union.
