Leanne Marshall, an American fashion designer, was born on October 10, 1980, in Yuba City, California. She later moved to Portland, Oregon, where she established herself as a renowned designer. Marshall graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco, where she received the prestigious "Levi's Dockers Fashion Designer of Tomorrow award."

Project Runway Journey
In 2008, Leanne Marshall gained nationwide recognition after winning the fifth season of the reality show "Project Runway." She competed against fifteen other participants and emerged victorious. Although she started off on a lower note in the second episode, "The Grass Is Always Greener," she quickly rose to the top in the third episode, "Bright Lights, Big City." Throughout the show, Marshall showcased her talent and creativity, winning two consecutive challenges in the seventh and eighth episodes and securing immunity.

By the middle of the competition, Marshall had established herself as a fierce competitor. While facing a few setbacks in the tenth and eleventh episodes, she managed to secure a spot as one of the three finalists. In the final episode, Marshall presented her collection alongside Kenley Collins and Korto Momolu. Her collection received high praise from the judges, ultimately leading to her victory in the fifth season of "Project Runway." As the winner, Marshall received a prize of $100,000 to further develop her business.
Design Career
Leanne Marshall began her runway career in 2006 and made her debut at Portland Fashion Week in 2007. She showcased her collections at New York Fashion Week for several seasons, including Fall 2009, Spring 2010, Fall 2010, and Fall 2011. Additionally, Marshall created an eco-friendly clothing line for bluefly.com, which was released in July 2009. Her talent and creativity also caught the attention of Heidi Klum, for whom she designed a dress during Klum's pregnancy.
Currently, Marshall focuses on designing unique and personalized wedding dresses for private clients. Her design studio is located in Brooklyn, New York. Recently, she had the opportunity to create several dresses for singer Paula Abdul, further solidifying her reputation in the fashion industry.
