Early Life and Education

Elena Zosimova was born on September 11th, with a passion for music that blossomed from a young age. From 1987-1989, she pursued piano lessons at a music school, followed by ballet training from 1989-1991. Simultaneously, she honed her ballroom dancing skills through private lessons. In 1991, she graduated from high school and dedicated the following two years (1992-1993) to vocal lessons.

Musical Beginnings

In 1993, Zosimova recorded her first three songs: "Podruzhki," "Liniya Lyubvi," and "Tonkiy Led." The music video for "Podruzhki" featured Bogdan Titomir and was directed by Grigory Konstantinovopolskiy, gaining prominence on music charts on channels such as BIZ-TV (2x2), ORT, and TV-6. From 1993-1994, she embarked on a nationwide tour.

In 1994, Zosimova released her debut album, "Vse Vperedi," featuring the songs "Podruzhki," "Disco," "Ne Skhodi s Uma," "Liniya Lyubvi," and "Tonkiy Led." The music video for "Na Yuzhnom Beregu" depicted a sultan's palace, played by Igor Vernik.

Transition to America: Second Album and Touring

Zosimova's second album, "Ne Vinovata Ya," was recorded in the United States during 1995-1996. Notable tracks included "Ne Revnuyu" and "Ya i Ty," for which she penned the lyrics. The music video for "Obnimi Menya" was filmed at the Kievsky Railway Station, directed by Andrei Lukashevich. From 1996-1998, Zosimova toured extensively throughout Russia.

MTV and "Banzai!"

After MTV's arrival in Russia in September 1998, Zosimova delved into administrative work at the network. In 1999, she spearheaded the creation of "Banzai!" alongside two friends, a program that showcased celebrities in unconventional situations, fulfilling their childhood dreams.

Return to Solo Career and New Projects

Despite her success with "Banzai!," Zosimova remained committed to her solo career. In 2002, she planned to release a new album, aiming for songs with lasting appeal. While maintaining her involvement with MTV, she teased the preparation of a new project for the network.
